In response to the global focus on the environmental impact of single-use plastics, Wesglow Industries is proud to declare that all of its manufactured plastic products will be biodegradable starting from Dec 2019.
Our newly developed biodegradable plastic products undergo a transformation when exposed to environments where microbes are present, such as landfills, compost facilities, home composting systems, soil, and oceans. In these conditions, our plastics will naturally break down, returning to the ecosystem without leaving behind harmful residues.

ASTM 5511 Test Report
The anaerobic biodegradation test (ASTM D5511) involved comparing the negative inoculum (control) with the positive inoculum. The test results revealed that the Wesglow Seal demonstrated significant biodegradability under anaerobic conditions, with a biodegraded mass of 3.18 g and a percent biodegraded of 13.7%. We have scientifically demonstrated its enhanced biodegradability. Our seal has proven its ability to efficiently break down in anaerobic environments, contributing to the reduction of plastic waste accumulation.
